 Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) are regulations that govern the integrity of all lifting equipment regardless of whether it’s new or second hand.
The LOLER regulations state the following: "A thorough examination of machines at an interval not greater than six months, being reduced in conjunction with machine utilisation and must be completed by a competent person."
Ultimately, LOLER, ensures all equipment is serviced and maintained to a high level, ensuring strength and stability. In addition to certification, all servicing and maintenance work performed will be clearly marked on the equipment for the purpose of future inspections and for the benefit of the user provide peace of mind that the equipment is safe to use and installed to the highest standard.
Stand At Ease in accordance with the care commission offer a fully certificated service for every piece of equipment used for the purposes of lifting or lowering. This service is carried out on a 6 monthly basis as per the regulations.
